In the past few days, the folk environmental protection and academic institutions, jointly made up of APEPA, IC-GA, CUI and CPPC, have published "2014 Best Cities for Summer Travel".

Guiyang city in Guizhou province and Kunming city in Yunnan province tied for first place in the "2014 Top 50 Cities for Summer Travel in China" section.

At the same time, Guiyang was selected for the 2014 Best World Cities for Summer Travel list.

Other awards published by the four institutions include "2014 Top 100 World Cities for Summer Travel"; "2014 Top 100 Chinese Towns for Summer Travel"; "2014 Top 50 Chinese Cities for Summer Travel" and "2014 Top 100 Chinese Mountains for Summer Travel".

DaLou Mountain in Zunyi city, Leigong Mountain and Yuntai Mountain in Qiandongnan, Fanjing Mountain in Tongren city and Wanfenglin in Xingyi city are selected "2014 Top 100 Chinese Mountains for Summer Travel".

Guiyang city, Liupanshui city, Bijie city, Anshun City and Qianxinan were selected in the "2014 Top 50 Chinese Cities for Summer Travel".

"The ranking this year has a special provision to encourage ecological tourism. The selected destinations that suffer from serious haze will get reduced grades," said the awards publisher.
