With the official announcement of the launching of "Wise Guizhou Dadabase Project" on July 24, the data project is officially settled at the Guiyang National Economic and Technology Area, Guiyang city, in Guizhou province.

According to the Guidelines on Development of the Data Industry in Guizhou (2014-2020), Guizhou will build seven online service platforms, including electronic government administration, intelligent transportation, logistics and tourism. The Wise Guizhou project is the first one to focus on tourism.

Joint efforts with Shanghai Jifen Information Co Ltd, the project will begin in August, with three phases, and it is expected to be complete in two or three years.

It will be Guizhou's first online service platform to provide tourism and exhibition information. By then, all tourism bureaus, organizations and companies will be included in the online system. All scenic spots in Guizhou will have adopted an E-ticket system.
