According to the Guiyang municipal government, Guiyang will hold a big data expo in 2015. Bill Gates is on the invitation list.

The 2015 China (Guiyang) Big Data Expo will be held between June 11 and 14, 2015, in the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. A series of activities will be held, including themed exhibitions, summits and forums.

The China (Guiyang) International Big Data Industrial Exhibition and 2015 China (Guiyang) International Big Data Innovation Competition will be held at the same time.

Guiyang aims to build a platform that gathers the most cutting-edge and advanced technology, products and solutions in the big data industry through the opening of the big data expo.

The organizing committee has drawn up the invitation list. Top IT companies at home and abroad, including HP, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, Amazon, Facebook, IBM, Foxconn, Baidu, Tencent, ZTE, Huawei, Alibaba and Mi, and leading research institutes, including Stanford University, MIT, Peking University and Tsinghua University, are on the invitation list.

Also, many recent industrial trends, products and information will be released during the expo, including a big data white paper, 5G PAD, wearable devices and self-driving cars.
