Guiyang's big data and real economy integration index reached 45.3 in 2018, an increase of 2.8 compared with 2017. The revenue of big data enterprises' main business is estimated to be about 100 billion yuan ($14.76 billion), according to a big data exchange meeting held in Guiyang on Jan 7.

In recent years, Guiyang has implemented a series of big data strategic measures to gather high-quality resources, which has spawned new business models and accelerated the development of big data.

Currently, the total number of above-scale enterprises has reached 208, which has become a powerful engine in leading the digital economy and promoting the high-quality development of the social economy in the city.

For their next step, Guiyang will focus on the development of "China Valley", so as to improve big data innovation capability and power the digital economy.
