Southwest China's Guizhou province won awards for excellent organization and demonstration during the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), which was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province from May 16 to 20.

Famous for its stunning views of mountains and its colorful customs, Guizhou not only displayed its tea culture, but its development in multimedia, culture plus technology, and poverty relief through intangible cultural creation.

Covering a total exhibition area of 880 square meters, the province also showed its efforts in constructing high quality standard tea parks, promoting clean processing, and extending the tea industry chain.

"I really like Chinese tea culture and I was surprised to see such a big demonstration area for tea in the Guizhou pavilion during the expo. It was also my first time tasting Guizhou tea," said an overseas student from Australia.

Statistics show that a total of 2,312 teams consisting of members from domestic governments, enterprises, and institutions attended expo. In addition, 132 overseas institutions from 50 countries and regions were invited to take part.
