The Alibaba Cloud Innovation Center is expected to be established in Southwest China's Guizhou's provincial capital, Guiyang, which is commonly known as China's Data Valley.
Zhu Gang, head of Nanming district in Guiyang, led a delegation to the Hangzhou-based Alibaba Group recently and both sides reached a cooperation agreement on the settlement of the innovation center.
As an incubation service platform for technological innovation and entrepreneurship in the big data field, the center will provide comprehensive services for startups, including financial support, advice on choosing a settlement place, entrepreneurship guidance, and free resource packages.
It is expected that the center will open seven industrial incubation clusters in China and attract more startups specializing in artificial intelligence to Guizhou in an effort to lure more high-end talents, as well as improve the quality of agricultural products for the province.
