Southwest China's Guizhou province and the Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei region in North China reached an agreement to create a cross-region big data industry ecosystem at a recent exchange meeting for the construction of a national big data comprehensive pilot area held in Hebei province.

The agreement will promote data sharing between Guizhou and the Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei region, allowing both regions to share experiences in pilot area construction, as well as enhancing big data innovation and application.

To date, China possesses eight national big data comprehensive pilot areas across the country. Based on the agreement, Guizhou and the Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei region will cooperate on big data talent cultivation between different regions, universities, colleges, and majors.

The agreement will also contribute to the prohibition of attempts that threaten big data information security, as well as the exploration of big data pilot area multilateral cooperation on big data theories and application.
