Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group is a State-owned company that was founded in June 2019 and has a registered capital of 6 billion yuan ($923.85 million). Currently, the group has total assets worth 93 billion yuan and more than 18,000 employees.
The group's main businesses involve phosphate mining, phosphate compound fertilizer, the fine phosphate chemical industry, the sulfur coal chemical industry, the fluorine and iodine chemical industry, the utilization of phosphorus' associated resources, new green building materials, general contracting for international projects, modern agriculture and environmental protection technologies.
Its products have been sold to more than 30 countries and regions worldwide. The annual production capacity of the group's mineral resources ranks first in Asia and third in the world for phosphorus and the phosphorus chemical industry.
The group has six production bases in Guizhou, Gansu, Sichuan and Fujian provinces.
With its national innovation platforms, the group has developed and applied several world-leading technologies in phosphate mining, wet phosphoric acid purification and the utilization of phosphorus' associated resources.
The group is presently the world's largest purified wet phosphoric acid and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride provider.
