In 2021, Guiyang city and Guian New Area of Southwest China's Guizhou province started the construction of 89 industrial projects with investment more than 100 million yuan ($15.69 million) each, and completed 120 industrial projects, according to the statistics released on Dec 24.

Guiyang and Guian have cultivated 120 companies with an annual output value of 20 million yuan or more. It is expected that the industrial market entities to reach 18,600 this year.

There were 19 companies in Guiyang and Guian selected as provincial company technology centers or provincial industrial design centers and 26 companies selected as municipal company technology centers this year.

The added value of Guiyang and Guian's high-tech manufacturing industry is expected to occupy 19 percent of the areas' total added value of industries.

This year, Guiyang and Guian formulated to set up plans and management regulations for industrial development fund pools and foundations worth 10 billion yuan.

The two regions issued emergency loans worth 600 million yuan for 51 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, also 12 companies received 3.72 billion yuan of provincial financial support.

Guiyang and Guian also helped 27 companies apply for national and provincial green manufacturing demonstration companies, completed two industry energy-saving projects, and implemented six phosphogypsum utilization projects which can dispose of 5.6 million metric tons of phosphogypsum by the end of this year.
