Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province are currently attracting investment to form a digital industry cluster in Guiyang big data sci-tech innovation city.

By Feb 8, Guiyang and Guian had carried out discussion with eight major companies, four of which started selecting sites for their headquarters, two of which signed cooperation agreements, and two were still negotiating.

Guiyang and Guian give full play to platform enterprises' advantages in investment resources and services. By Feb 8, three platform enterprises had registered in Guiyang big data sci-tech innovation city, two expressed their intent to invest, and one was still negotiating.

Guiyang and Guian also attract companies to set up management, R&D, accounting and application centers in the innovation center with Guian's data centers, which cover a total area of 15,000 mu (1,000 hectares) and can be equipped with 8 million servers.

Currently, Huawei Cloud has its global headquarters, software ecosystem base, hardware manufacturing base, innovation center for software developers, talent center, and engineer training center in Guian.

By the end of 2022, Huawei Cloud is expected to achieve a total revenue of 22 billion yuan ($3.49 billion).
