China Railway Construction Real Estate Group Co's Guizhou branch and the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation signed a cooperation agreement on March 29 to co-hold the Salvador Dali Guiyang Exhibition at the Guiyang International Fashion Release Center in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 1.

It will be the first time that the exhibition is held in Guizhou and the third time it is held in China after the Beijing exhibition in 2005 and Shanghai exhibition in 2015.

The exhibition will run from July 1 to Oct 20, lasting for more than 100 days and showcasing hundreds of Spanish art works, including 121 rare Dali paintings. The total value of the exhibits is estimated at 2 billion yuan ($314.02 million).

Juan Manuel Sevillano Campalans, managing director of the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation, said that the exhibition is a significant cultural exchange activity between China and Spain and that he looked forward to the event.

The Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation was established by Salvador Dali himself in 1983. It is devoted to the promotion and protection of Dali's art, intellectual property and copyrights.

The Guiyang International Fashion Release Center is located in the Guiyang Glamorous Park and opened to the public in October 2021. It is Guiyang's first release platform themed around fashion and has held various release events for famous fashion brands.
