Updated: June 15, 2022

Guiyang customs in Southwest China's Guizhou province recently released 10 measures to support the development of the China-Europe Railway Express.

The measures will optimize the supervision of customs clearance, support hub transportation station construction, cultivate related companies, and expand imports and exports shipped via the China-Europe Railway Express.

Guiyang customs will launch plans to supervise the operation of the China-Europe Railway Express, help companies declare at customs, and set up 24-hour customs declaration windows.

It will enhance cooperation with main ports in Alataw Pass, Horgos and Manzhouli to ensure the successful customs clearance of China-Europe Railway Express.

Guiyang customs will support the Guiyang Free Trade Zone to establish a customs supervision area, and support the construction of a dry port in the Gaimao customs supervision area, which will be connected with the transportation route between Guizhou and Guangdong provinces and the rest of the world.

To support the development of companies who have trade contacts with countries along the route of the China-Europe Railway Express, Guiyang customs will recognize authorized economic operators (AEOs) and provide convenient customs clearance services.

For export companies with trade contacts with European countries and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, Guiyang customs will enhance supervision and guidance to help them deal with other countries' trade regulations.

Guiyang customs will also help the China-Europe Railway Express develop new businesses such as cross-border e-commerce, post and express delivery.

Guizhou's featured products such as high-end equipment, tea and baijiu are encouraged to be exported by the China-Europe Railway Express.
