The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently made the 2022 list of professional, refined, specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

A total of 228 SMEs in Southwest China's Guizhou province made the list, including 88 in Guiyang and three in Guian New Area.

The 91 SMEs in Guiyang and Guian are involved in the big data electronic information industry, advanced equipment manufacturing, health and medicine, ecological food, basic materials, the new building materials industry, and light industry.

The period of validity of these professional, refined, specialized and innovative SMEs is from June 17, 2022 to June 16, 2025.

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology required that recognized SMEs continue to improve their innovation capabilities and enhance their core competitiveness.

In recent years, Guizhou has been cultivating professional, refined, specialized and innovative SMEs. All cities and prefectures in the province have been directed to establish a cultivation database for professional, refined, specialized and innovative SMEs, and recommend no less than 20 such enterprises to be upgraded to the provincial level every year, according to an implementation plan released in May of last year.

This year, Guizhou will focus on establishing a cultivation system, improving financial services, strengthening human resource services, and promoting integrated development to cultivate more professional, refined, specialized and innovative SMEs.
