Eight projects with a total investment of 5.91 billion yuan ($837.55 million) were launched on Nov 12 by the Guian New Area Industrial Development Holding Group Co, at Guiyang Big Data Sci-tech Innovation City in Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The projects include one office for the group involving a total investment of 1.78 billion yuan, one hub center for the national integrated computing power network costing 1 billion yuan and six standard plant projects with a total investment of 3.13 billion yuan.
The group's office will cover a total floor area of 291,800 square meters and when completed will be a support facility for Guiyang Big Data Sci-tech Innovation City.
The hub center for the national integrated computing power network is part of the Eastern Data and Western Computing project. It will be a computing power operation dispatch center and a main computing power center for the Guizhou node of the network.
The six standard plant projects will include workshops, warehouses, support facilities and dorms. They will help Guian attract investment for electronics information manufacturing, new materials and new energy industrial supply chains.
In the future, the group will improve the new area's industrial development platform, industrial service platform, industrial financing platform and investment attraction platform – showcasing State-owned capital operations and successful industrial capital investments.
