The 15th Photo China Original International Photography Exhibition kicked off on Nov 21 at the Guizhou Art Museum in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and will last until Dec 4.

The event includes more than 1,000 photos by famous domestic and foreign photographers, and integrates photographs with multimedia art installations and material object exhibitions.

The event breaks the boundaries of traditional plane exhibitions by using light, shadow and digital art to create a new type of photo exhibition providing an experience that is both visual and auditory.

Since the exhibition was first held in 2008, it has gathered more than 100,000 photos from across the world, and has been held in more than 20 countries since 2011.

The exhibition aims to record the beauty of Guizhou and promote Guizhou's story to the world. It has become an important way to promote the development of photography, ethnic and folk cultural exchange, and the protection of intangible cultural heritage.
