Over the past year, Guiyang and Guian in Southwest China's Guizhou province have been focusing on business and investment promotion, with a number of key industrial projects signed and under construction now.

The Guiyang big data scientific innovation city project occupies an area of 54 square kilometers. It will build 1,200,000 square meters of industrial and residential areas, introduce 400 big data enterprises, and generate 3 billion yuan ($430.5 million) in annual revenue.

The Guian Huawei cloud data center project will accommodate 1 million servers after it is established. It will also serve surrounding regions and areas, including Chongqing, Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan and Sichuan.

The Chery (Guizhou) industrial base project is about to undertake the company's automobile manufacturing business, and achieve 50 billion yuan in annual output.
