Guizhou Kailin Holdings (Group) Co Ltd is a large state-owned enterprise which is engaged in phosphorus rock mining and phosphorus coal chemical production. Formerly known as Guizhou Kaiyang Phosphorous Mine Bureau, it was established as one of the three largest rock phosphorous mining bases in 1958 during the Second Five-Year Plan (1958-62).
Located in the state-planned mine areas, Kailin is blessed with rich natural resources of rock phosphate. The reserve of rock phosphate is 1.1 billion tons. The phosphorus resource in Kailin is characterized by large reserve, high quality, low harmful impurities and low cadmium content with its average content of P2O5 over 33.67 percent. It is the only pre-qualified phosphorus resource in China which can be directly used as the raw material of high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizer.
With over 50 years of great efforts, Guizhou Kailin Group has developed into a large modernized enterprise group specialized in mining, phosphorus-coal,chlor-alkali chemical industry,fluorine chemical,silicon chemical,trade and logistics, construction and building materials, and property services.
Now it has reached an annual production capacity of 1 billion pieces of new-type phosphogypsum bricks, 10 million tons of rock phosphate, 5.5 million tons of high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizers, 0.6 million tons of synthesis ammonia, 0.3 million tons of caustic soda, 0.15 million tons of PVC, 0.11 million tons of pentaerythritol, and 0.02 million tons of yellow phosphorus, and the production capacity of matching new-type building material. It has been the largest rock phosphate underground mining enterprise, the largest pentaerythrite producer, and the top two and four high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizers producer in China and abroad respectively.
Kailin Group has been listed in the top 100 enterprises in chemical industry of China for 11 years. The main products are sold throughout 29 provinces, cities and autonomous regions of China, and are also exported to a total of 17 foreign countries and regions such as Asia, America, the Middle East, and Australia. In 2015, this group's sales revenue reached 6.5 billion yuan (including international sales revenue of $2 billion). The industrial added value was 3.61 billion yuan, and the total assets were 45 billion yuan.
