Currently, Guiyang and Guian New Area have 89 flower-seeing spots, and their blossom season lasts from February to May. Visitors to both areas can enjoy the beautiful plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, canola flowers, peach blossoms, pear blossoms, tulips, daffodils, Chinese wisteria flowers, daisies, and big-leaf hydrangeas.

During the blossom season, activities that combine flower–seeing, leisure, rural tourism, camping, food tasting, and cultural experience will be launched. These include photography competitions, self-driving tours, hiking routes, and concerts.
