Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, sent an investment promotion team to seek cooperation with famous companies such as China State Shipbuilding Corp Ltd, China COSCO Shipping Corp Ltd and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank on Feb 27.

In November last year, Guiyang and China State Shipbuilding Corp Ltd signed an agreement which allows the corporation to participate in Guiyang's urban upgrading, prefabricated building construction, new energy development, and intelligent manufacturing development.

Guiyang and China State Shipbuilding Corp Ltd will make the most of their complementary advantages in the industrial chain and get involved in the global industrial chain.

On Feb 17, China COSCO Shipping Corp Ltd signed a cooperation agreement with Guiyang to enhance cooperation on international land port construction and international freight train operation.

As a significant hub of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Guiyang is connected with the global market via China-Europe Railway Express, and the cooperation with China COSCO Shipping Corp Ltd will enhance Guiyang's position in Guizhou's opening-up.

To provide first-class services and business environment, Guiyang carried out exchanges with Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and learned from Shanghai Pudong New Area's finance industry development.

In recent years, Guiyang has established cooperative relationships with famous companies such as NetEase, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd (CATL), BYD and Xunfeng Technology Co Ltd so as to strengthen the industrial chain, integrate into the global transportation network, and utilize first-class resources.
