The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 2022 green manufacturing list on March 24, which listed four companies from Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province as "green factories."

The four companies are Guizhou Zhenghe Tianzhu Technology Co, CRRC Guiyang Co, Guizhou Geely Engine Co and Guiyang Zhongan Technology Group, which specialize in phosphorus chemicals, advanced equipment manufacturing, and new energy vehicles.

Guizhou Zhenghe Tianzhu Technology Co was also selected among the green supply chain management companies.

In recent years, Guiyang has been focusing on high-end, green and intensive development, with the construction of a green manufacturing system considered by the city to be a key way to bring about industrial transformation and upgrading as well as the high-quality development of real economy.

Currently, Guiyang is home to 35 companies with the title of "green factory", including 16 national ones and 19 provincial ones. It is also home to three national green industrial parks, 13 national green design products, and six green supply chain management companies.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has been organizing the construction of a green manufacturing system with green factories, green products, green industrial parks and green supply chains since 2017, and recognized all the companies that meet the requirements of green development.

The aim is to improve China's green manufacturing system, and assist the industrial sector in achieving carbon peak and carbon neutral goals.
