The Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2023 is set to be held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from July 8 to 9, according to a press conference held in Guiyang on June 5.

The forum, China's only international forum focusing on ecological civilization, has become an important platform for promoting international exchanges and cooperation in the development of an ecological civilization and an important way for the world to better understand the country's ecological civilization development. 

This year's forum, titled "Seeking modernization with harmonious coexistence between man and nature – promoting green and low-carbon development", will focus on topics such as improving global environmental governance and addressing climate change.

About 500 guests from national ministries and commissions, international organizations, foreign embassies and consulates in China, well-known universities, enterprises and research institutions at home and abroad will attend the forum.

Well-known enterprises at home and abroad have been invited to the forum to promote a number of green industry projects and help promote investment in green industry.

To showcase ecological civilization achievements, the on-site exhibition will also include halls for Guizhou province and other provinces, while the online exhibition will be available on the forum's official website and other local Guizhou websites.
