The Zhuqitong (Southwest) Construction Digital Technology Industrial Park, jointly established by Guian Industrial Control Group and Hunan Construction Investment Group, officially opened in Guian New Area on July 3, with the first batch of 32 enterprises signing contracts to set up operations.

This industrial park is the first digital technology service supply chain platform for the construction industry in the southwest region. It aims to utilize digital platforms to promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional construction industry.

Cai Dianwei, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group, said that the construction industry is a pillar industry of the national economy, and achieving rapid, high-quality, and healthy development requires the digitization of the construction industry.

The two groups will focus on the transformation and upgrading of the industrial and supply chains, establishing interconnectivity across devices, systems, factories, and regions.

They will work together to build an open, innovative, collaborative, and efficient industrial digital supply chain ecosystem, achieving strategic coordination throughout the entire construction industry.

Furthermore, they will leverage the unique location and policy advantages of Guian New Area to promote high-quality economic and social development in Guian New Area and the entire southwest region.

So far, Zhuqitong has established three industrial parks nationwide. In the next three years, it plans to establish 30 more parks, connecting 30,000 companies with a total annual turnover exceeding 100 billion yuan ($13.81 billion) and a total of 1 billion yuan per year in tax payments.
