This year, Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been focusing on fair competition, legal protection, and improving government and enterprise-related services.

It aims to create a market-oriented, law-based, and world-class business environment.

It has reduced the number of safety-related approval items from 78 to 44, the time needed to approve government investment projects has been shortened to 54 working days, and the time needed to approve social investment projects has been shortened to 36 working days.

The new area has also established a unified platform for housing transactions and real estate registration, set up 7x24-hour government service stations, and provided online smart consulting services.

According to a recent survey, there are currently 4,930 active market entities out of a total of 25,405 businesses, including 276 whose business scales have exceeded the designated size.
