The Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission recently allocated a special fund of 140 million yuan ($19.24 million) for the fourth round of provincial preliminary work in 2023.

The fund focuses on supporting key areas such as promoting new industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization, tourism industrialization, major infrastructure, ecological environmental protection, and social livelihood, as well as promoting the high-quality development of Guian New Area.

The fund will help accelerate the start of construction on major projects, expand effective investment, and promote the establishment of a modern industrial system supported by the real economy.

Focusing on supporting the high-quality development of the Guian New Area, a fund of 22 million yuan has been allocated to support 15 projects such as the infrastructure construction of the Shekou Net Valley in the Guian New Area High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park and the phase II of the New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park.
