Action plan launched to promote digital transformation of SMEs in Guiyang and Guian

Guiyang City and Guian New Area recently launched the "Empowerment for Thousands of Enterprises" action plan, aiming to guide and promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
According to the plan, by 2025, Guiyang and Guian aim to achieve a digital economy added value accounting for 55 percent of the regional GDP and form a modern industrial system led by the digital economy.
The plan specifies that focusing on seven major industrial key sectors, including electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, eco-specialty foods, phosphorus chemicals, aluminum, and aluminum processing, Guiyang and Guian will conduct pilot demonstrations of intelligent manufacturing, and explore innovative applications of "5G + industrial internet" and "industrial internet + safety production."
The goal is to drive the digital upgrading of 300 industrial enterprises, and create 450 integration demonstration projects by 2025.
In terms of the digital transformation in agricultural industry, efforts will be made to deepen the application of technologies such as big data, loT, and artificial intelligence, and improve the digital utilization in every step of production, processing, marketing, sale and logistics. Guiyang and Guian are looking to create 100 integration demonstration projects by 2025.
While focusing on the production and life service industries such as logistics, cultural tourism, and commerce, Guiyang and Guian will develop information consumption and digital consumption.
They will strengthen the promotion of comprehensive smart tourism products and services, build smart logistics terminal infrastructure, promote online and offline integration, establish smart stores, smart business districts, and smart neighborhoods, and develop new service models and formats such as platform economy, sharing economy, cloud economy, and experience economy.
