In preparation for the upcoming National Day, Guiyang organized a "Thousands of People Singing to Celebrate the National Day" flash mob relay public welfare event, aiming to reflect Guiyang's urban development and unite patriotic sentiments a medium more appealing to young people.

On Sept 23, residents and visitors came to Yinma Lake Park as usual to take photos, enjoy the scenic beauty by the lake, roller skate, and practice street dancing. Suddenly, the melodious sound of a piano filled the air, followed by beautiful melodies from instruments like the cello, violin, and harp. The fountain in the middle of the lake danced to the rhythm of the music, and the unexpected flash mob ignited the enthusiasm of the entire crowd. Famous singers such as Ayouduo, Chen Xin, and Zhang Meiling emerged from the crowd and led everyone in singing "My Motherland and Me."

As the song reached its climax, thousands of people waved national flags and sang in unison, turning the park into a sea of red.

Guided by the publicity department of the Guiyang municipal Party Committee and produced by the Guiyang Daily Media Group, the event selected both old and new landmarks such as Jiaxiu Pavilion, Qingyun Market, Wenchang Pavilion, and Hongfeng Lake for the flash mob relay.

In addition, an impressive and grand music microfilm based on the event will be released on National Day, as a tribute to the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
