The 2024 Gui'an Chinese New Year Goods Fair for the Year of the Dragon was launched in the Gui'an New Area Digital Economy Industrial Park in Guizhou province on Feb 1.

The event attracted flocks of people, and the industrial park was bustling with activity. The event featured dragon and lion dances, traditional Hanfu fashion shows, dough figurine molding, sugar painting, couplet writing, and the distribution of Chinese New Year paintings.

The fair not only showcased rich folk culture but also exuded a joyful and harmonious atmosphere to welcome the Chinese New Year.

In addition to the main venue at the industrial park, the event also had four sub-venues. Throughout the fair’s five-day run, the main venue exhibition area had 100 booths showcasing 200 types of cross-border products, as well as specialty products from the province and the new area. Merchants offered discounts ranging from 5 percent to 30 percent, invigorating consumption in Gui'an.
