On Feb 8, the China-Europe freight train carrying a complete set of Geely auto parts departed from Guiyang International Land Port and headed westward after crossing Arxan Port. It is expected to arrive at its destination in Belarus in 20 days, adding new impetus to the expansion of Guizhou's products into overseas markets.

This marks the second direct China-Europe train to launch from the Guiyang International Land Port in 2024. The train, loaded with over 100 sets of auto parts manufactured by Geely Automobile Holdings, will be traveling directly to Belarus without any transfers or container changes.

Upon arrival in Minsk, Belarus, the auto parts will be delivered to Geely's assembly plant for distribution to surrounding countries. This route saves an estimated 10 days of transport.

In the future, Guizhou will continue to improve the supporting functions of Guiyang International Land Port. The city will also accelerate the construction of a transportation system centered around the port, and promote the high-quality operation of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains and China-Laos trains.

These efforts aim to contribute to Guizhou's high-quality development as a new inland open economic hub.
