Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province has recently released its major development goals for the county economy in Qingzhen city, Kaiyang county, Xifeng county, and Xiuwen county.

By 2027, the comprehensive economic strength of its "one city and three counties" plan will significantly increase. The proportion of the county economy to the total economy of Guiyang city (including Gui'an New Area) will be maintained at around 20 percent. Efforts will also be made to further the development of at least two local counties to the point that they are included in West China's top 100 counties.

Plans are for the leading industries of these counties to significantly boost overall economic development. The added value of industries in these counties will account for approximately 26 percent of Guiyang city's (including Gui'an New Area) industrial added-value.

The urbanization rate of the permanent resident population in the "one city and three counties" plan will be raised to over 50 percent.

Guiyang city and Gui'an New Area also plan to accelerate the growth rate of per capita disposable income of the urban and rural residents in these counties so that they exceed the provincial average.
