With the arrival of spring, the Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou province, with 700,000 cherry blossom trees, is about to start the year's flower-viewing season.

Located near Hongfeng Lake, the Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park covers an area of over 24,000 mu (1,600 hectares) and features three core scenic areas: the observation deck, the Fanying Cherry Blossom Square, and the Manying Cherry Blossom Garden. The spectacular continuous waterfront cherry blossom garden has earned the reputation of being the "best cherry blossom viewing spot in Guizhou."

The meteorological department, based on previous temperature analysis, predicts that this year, the first blooming period for the cherry blossoms in Gui'an will be from March 11 to March 15, while the full blooming period will be from March 15 to March 23.

This year, the Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park will hold a variety of events, including the first National Cherry Blossom Cultural Travel Photography Festival, the first Jungle Graffiti Art Festival, the first Meadow Camp Kite Festival, and the first Cherry Blossom-viewing Hiking Conference.

Moreover, Gui'an New Area will offer recommendations for food, accommodations, shopping, and more, and introduce several cherry blossom-themed tourism routes connecting the Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park to other areas such as Yunman Lake, Wangjiayuan village, Huawei Cloud Town, and Gui'an Cloud Valley.

In addition, this year, the park will provide shuttle buses for individual visitors, which will operate from the outside parking areas and stop at the visitor center within the park. It has also added exclusive park routes for group visitors. Within the park, there are two sightseeing routes for tour buses in the cherry blossom garden. These improvements will make it easier for visitors to get around.
