Gui'an makes headway in talent gathering

Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been prioritizing talent gathering in recent years, viewing it as the primary driver of development. Data shows that in 2023, Gui'an attracted and nurtured a total of 24,000 talents, bringing the total talent pool to 75,000.

Speaking about why he chose to move to Gui'an, Wang Yongxiang, an engineer at Guizhou Anxin Electronics Co, stated that the rapid development of the city instills confidence in both businesses and individuals looking to grow and develop. He is planning to bring his family to Gui'an in the near future.

Chen Long, an electronic engineer at Guizhou Zhonghaixin Electronic Technology Co shared similar feelings. The company was established operations in Gui'an due to its policy advantages and tremendous development potential, while Chen came for the company's strong potential in developing and producing leading products.

To accommodate the growing talent pool, the area has worked to improve services. Efforts have been made to strengthen the development of commercial and trade services in areas with concentrated industrial development and high populations.

In addition, in a bid to provide more comfortable living environment for talents, Gui'an completed the construction of a total of 1,890 units of government-subsidized rental housing in 2023, and in 2024 it will build even more. It will continue work on 2,800 units of rental housing projects and commence construction on 5,310 new rental housing units.
