The CRRC Guiyang and Gui'an Shidai Green Equipment Industrial Base (CRRC Gui'an Base) is expected to set up operations soon in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou province.

 The CRRC Gui'an Base is the first industrial base established by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co in Guizhou, which is a "Double-hundred Enterprise" recognized by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Construction on the base is divided into two phases, and phase one will be responsible for wind turbine manufacturing, inverter manufacturing and urban rail electromechanical equipment manufacturing.

The base will apply a number of new technologies. Automated processing equipment and an intelligent logistics system have been established by upgrading the existing wind turbine manufacturing equipment to intelligent systems, which has created a pulsating assembly line for complete machines.

Speaking about why CRRC chose Gui'an as the location for the new base, Lin Bo, general manager of Guizhou CRRC Shidai Green Equipment Co, a subsidiary of CRRC Zhuzhou, said that Guizhou possesses an abundance of natural resources that can support CRRC in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in the new energy sector. Gui'an, meanwhile, has a favorable business environment, offering CRRC efficient, convenient, and transparent government services.

Additionally, significant assistance has been provided in terms of infrastructure construction, talent recruitment, tax incentives and financial support.
