On June 9, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a summer tourism promotional event in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province. The event successfully garnered interest in the Yangming Cultural Tourism Route, attracting about 500 potential customers, with approximately 170 confirmed bookings. Additionally, over 100 people expressed intent to purchase summer vacation packages.

Yangming Culture was created in Guiyang by Wang Yangming, who, born in Zhejiang, was a Chinese philosopher during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

This promotional event integrated intangible cultural heritage roadshows, cultural tourism promotion, a Peking Opera tour, and a product exhibition. By combining staged indoor and outdoor presentations, the innovative format significantly enhanced the brand awareness of "Cool Guiyang".

Coinciding with the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the event featured interactive intangible cultural heritage displays outside the venue, creating a festive atmosphere. In addition to highlighting Guiyang's climate, natural resources, and new attractions, the cultural tourism promotion phase also focused on promoting sojourn tourism resources and Yangming Culture.

Accompanied by exquisite displays of images, the Guiyang cultural tourism ambassador painted an enchanting picture of Guiyang from five perspectives: a refreshing summer getaway, a cultural journey through time, a healing nature retreat, a culinary adventure, and a trendy, romantic experience. These vivid depictions painted Guiyang as an enticing destination.
