Focusing on music, sports, culture, cuisine, and nature, hundreds of summer activities will be launched in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Regular roadside concerts will be held at Zhucheng Square in Nanming district every Saturday, ethnic-themed music activities will be held in Guanshanhu district, while famous Chinese singer Zhou Shen will also give a concert.

In addition, national and provincial-level sports competitions such as the China Paddle Board Open and Class-C Certification Event of Fencing will be held in Guiyang, promising much excitement.

Events such as the outdoor cuisine party in Qingyan Ancient Town, a lobster and beer festival, and the Summer Beer Music Festival at Qingyun Road will also offer a gustatory feast of delicious local food.

To enhance visitors' experiences, the WeChat applet for the summer break has been officially launched, which includes various types of accommodations such as homestays, hotels, and apartments as well as 143 businesses, 291 products, and 3,000 rooms across the city.

To date, Guiyang has introduced 12 key municipal-level summer break projects, covering summer leisure, folk culture, rural scenery, and health and wellness tourism. It is estimated that Guiyang will receive over 120,000 visits in 2024.
