The 2024 Special Job Fair for Guizhou State-owned Enterprises was held in Guizhou Minzu University on June 28 in an effort to make matchmaking between enterprises and college and university graduates more precise.
The job fair gathered 207 State-owned enterprises at the state, provincial, municipal and autonomous prefecture levels, offering 2,002 job opportunities in the fields of finance, education, healthcare, technology. More than 8,000 college and university graduates in and out of the province participated.
Wu Han, a fresh graduate from Fujian University of Technology who applied for a job at Guizhou Cloud Big Data Industrial Development Co at the fair, said that this is the second large job fair he has participated in. He said that compared with the first one and submitting resumes online, this job fair has more jobs at large State-owned enterprises and a wider variety of positions. He also prefers being able to meet recruiters face-to-face, he added.
During the event, the recruiters all fully showcased their respective companies' advantages, including company culture, prospects and salary, in order to attract prospective employees.
In addition, the job fair featured several service desks to provide one-stop services for jobseekers, including resume-printing, career planning and consultation, and explanations of employment policies.
