Known as Guizhou's top drifting spot, Taoyuan River in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is the most popular choice among tourists interested in summer water activities due to its rapid waters, thrilling canyons and stunning mountain scenery. The drifting project received a record-breaking 6,539 visitors in a single day on July 27.

The Taoyuan River Scenic Spot launched ecological science education project focused on fireflies. By conserving and restoring the natural environment, the spot not only preserves the natural habitat of fireflies but also offers abundant scientific materials and professional guided tour services, allowing visitors to better understand these natural wonders while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Guiyang ranked first on the list of top destinations for summer water activities released by China's online travel agency Ctrip, with the highest booking volume for summer escape-related vacation products on Ctrip and a year-on-year increase of 127 percent in bookings.
