The 2024 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week will be held at its permanent host site in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from Aug 20 to 25, with the theme of strengthening educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges for a brighter shared future.

Aiming to better serve cultural exchanges, deepen educational cooperation and promote regional economic and social development, the event will focus on showcasing new achievements in China-ASEAN educational exchanges and cooperation, sharing experiences and achievements in areas such as higher education, vocational education, basic education, special education and lifelong education.

During the event, 40 parallel activities will be launched to promote the signing of various cooperation agreements, establish a number of cooperation alliances and cooperation mechanisms, and jointly develop research cooperation platforms, overseas colleges and training bases. Additionally, various skills competitions, academic and applied achievements releases, and activities for building and sharing teaching resources will be held.
