The first Guizhou International Friendship Cities Exchange and Cooperation Conference will be held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from Sep 9 to 11.

A total of 90 guests from more than 30 international friendship cities and organizations in over 10 countries are expected to participate.

The event aims to comprehensively explore the resource advantages of friendship cities, establish a multilateral cooperation platform and promote practical exchanges and cooperation.

Activities such as signing ceremonies, friendship cities exchange and cooperation meetings, economic and trade investment promotion matchmaking meetings, cultural cooperation matchmaking meetings, thematic exhibitions, the Guizhou International Friendship Cities Food Festival, and tourism promotional film screenings will be launched.

Meanwhile, the conference will also facilitate practical exchanges and cooperation in fields such as economy and trade, education, culture, tourism, agricultural technology with friendship cities, regions and organizations.
