On Nov 8, an international media tour with the tagline "Discover Colorful Guizhou, Experience Beautiful China" and composed of journalists from China, South Korea, Spain, Hungary and other countries, visited Wengjing village in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to explore the development of unique local industries and rural vitalization efforts.

Serving as a national civilized village and a demonstration village for Guizhou's rural vitalization, Wengjing strives to promote the integrated development of various industries and increase villagers' incomes by creating facilities such as a strawberry garden, fruit orchards, rural customs experiencing projects and homestays.

"The pattern for the integrated development of diverse rural industries in Wengjing village is excellent. Maybe this shows that other places can learn from the Chinese path to modernization," said Tie Yi, a journalist from Macao Daily News.

Alvaro Alfaro, a journalist from the Spain EFE News Agency, stated that this tour allowed him to witness Guizhou's many tourism attractions, infrastructure development and rural vitalization efforts firsthand, and left a deep impression on him. He hopes to visit Guizhou again in the future to experience more of the unique local culture.
