The Promotion Meeting of Cultural and Tourism of Cool Guiyang was held in Singapore on Nov 22, with representatives of over 50 cultural and tourism enterprises, including tourism associations and key travel agencies from Guiyang and Singapore, participating.

Boasting unique natural conditions, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has creatively introduced over 100 tourism activities related to mountains. The city has been selected to join the "Cities with Nature" platform, designated as a National Forest City, and recognized as one of China's top 10 must-visit tourist destinations for 2023 at the World Travel Market.

Singapore is a popular destination among Guiyang residents and one of the city's most important sources of tourists, said Hu Lin, Director of the Guiyang municipal bureau of culture and tourism.

During the event, the English version of the "Guiyang International Official Guide", a collaboration between online travel agency Ctrip and Guiyang, was released and promoted online overseas. The guide introduces the cultural and tourism attractions of Guiyang, while telling the city's tourism story to the world from the perspective of international tourists.

In addition, a cooperation signing ceremony was held between Guizhou Guilyv International Travel Service Co and Singapore's tourism enterprises, deepening cross-regional cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation, and promoting the prosperity and development of the tourism industries in both areas.
