This year, Guizhou Geely Automobile Manufacturing Co in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, achieved an annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), becoming the first industrial enterprise in Guanshanhu to achieve the feat.

Geely E5 is Geely's first volume production car built on the GEA global intelligent new energy architecture. The company initiated a two-shift production model in September to increase daily output. Within 119 days of its launch, over 60,000 units of the model have been delivered, with a daily average delivery of 500 units. They have been sold to over 270 cities in 31 provinces across China.

"We will increase investment in project technological upgrades, implement capacity enhancement projects on the production line, and increase the daily production capacity from over 800 units to over 1,000 units," said a company spokesperson. Moving forward, the company will further expand production capacity and increase investment in vehicle model research and innovation, striving to implement more vehicle projects and better leverage its role as a leading enterprise in the industry chain.
