Guiyang's six mountains for winter outing

Interested in a winter outing? Then head to six mountains in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Yunwu Mountain is located in Niuchang village, Baiyun district. It is one of the "Ten Peaks of Guiyang", once being the highest peak in Guiyang. When the temperature drops in winter, visitors can witness the spectacular rime and snowy scenery.

Nanyue Mountain is located in Nanming district, and is also one of the "Ten Peaks of Guiyang". Due to its vast and expansive mountain range stretching for miles, it is known as the "Guiyang's Dragon Ridge". From the mountaintop, visitors can overlook a large part of the city, and it is an ideal spot for watching the sunrise and sunset.

Daluo Mountain is located in Yunyan district and is the highest peak of Qianling Mountain. A panoramic view of the entire city can be seen from the mountaintop.

Jiulong Mountain is located near Baihua Lake in Guanshanhu district and is one of the "Ten Peaks of Guiyang". The sightseeing platform at the mountaintop offers a bird's eye view of Baihua Lake.

Panlongshan Forest Park is located in Shuitian town, Wudang district, with 94 percent of its over 80,000 mu (5,333 hectares) of forest covered by vegetation, making it a natural oxygen bar.

Dianshan village is located in Baiyun district and boasts over 10,000 mu of forest resources. It features various mountain landscapes, including mines, mountainous areas, and forests, making it a popular destination for outings and a true "Twilight Forest".
