The direct flight route from Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to Jakarta, Indonesia, opened on Dec 15.

Operated by Indonesia's TransNusa Airlines, flight 8B812 is scheduled to operate once a week on Sundays. The flight departs from Jakarta at 6:35 pm and arrives at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 1:00 am the next day. The return flight departs from Guiyang at 2:00 am and arrives at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 6:25 am, with a flight duration of five hours and 25 minutes.

Jakarta is capital of Indonesia and the largest city in Southeast Asia. With the opening of this flight, the city is now connected with the three southwestern provinces of China – Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan. The Guiyang-Jakarta flight also provides convenient transportation links to destinations such as Bali, Surabaya, Manado, Komodo, and Yogyakarta.

The flight route greatly reduces the travel time between Guiyang and Jakarta, offering a more convenient transportation option for travelers from both regions and furthering mutual tourism promotion, economic and trade exchanges, and cultural interactions between the two cities.
