On Dec 24, the data element security base project of Zhangjiang (Gui'an) High-Tech Industrial Park was launched in Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The project, which has a total investment of 903 million yuan ($1.24 billion), covers an area of 26.69 mu (1.78 hectares) and a construction area of 95,600 square meters.
As Guizhou's first all-life-cycle industrial incubation platform focused on the data production, data circulation, and data application, the project consists of a data processing governance center, ownership and evaluation center, professional consulting service center, cross-border data supervision center, and a digital platform and spatial carrier centered with element management.
Zhangjiang (Gui'an) High-Tech Industrial Park is divided in to a computer power application industrial park, software industrial park, internet of things smart park, and AI industrial park, focusing on the construction of industrial buildings for big data, AI, and software development, as well as incubation bases, research and development testing centers, and supporting office buildings.
Thirteen companies have already agreed to set up operations in the park, with a registered capital of 300 million yuan.
In the future, the park will focus on the data element security base, introducing industries such as data cleaning and processing, rights registration, and data exchange to build an integrated data comprehensive service security base serving the entire country.
