Guiyang's 2025 Spring Festival travel rush begins

During the Spring Festival travel rush, the three major railway stations in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, are expected to transport 4.98 million people, a 5.2-percent year-on-year increase.

The Guiyangbei Railway Station is expected to host 3.35 million passengers, a 5.8-percent increase compared to the previous year. The Guiyangdong Railway Station is expected to host 630,000 passengers, a 5.2-percent year-on-year increase. The Guiyang Railway Station is expected to host 1 million passengers, a 3.2-percent year-on-year increase.
The Guiyangebei Railway Station plans to operate 263 pairs of trains, which is 28 more than last year, while the Guiyangdong Railway Station plan to add 17 new pairs, bringing its total to 117. The Guiyang Railway Station plans to operate 84.5 pairs of passenger trains.
