Big data economy booms in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone

In the first half of this year, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, completed nearly 100 million yuan ($13.91 million) in fixed investments in the big data sector.
The economic zone is currently home to 12 large-scale big data enterprises, covering areas such as internet and related services, smart supply chain integration project services, and software and information technology services. For example, Guiyang Zhongke Fuchuang Technology Co is a fourth-party intelligent technology service company specializing in logistics scenario operation optimization. In recent years, the company has been focusing on six major business scenarios, including rail transit, mail processing centers, and 3C electronic consumer goods. It achieved a revenue of 63 million yuan in 2023, 110 million yuan in 2024, and over 58 million yuan in the first half of 2025, with annual revenue expected to exceed 150 million yuan.
From January to June, the economic zone completed a total of 96 million yuan in fixed investments in the big data sector, achieving 192 percent of the municipal target of 50 million yuan. Revenue from large-scale internet and related services reached 158 million yuan, up 21.27 percent year-on-year. Revenue from large-scale software and information technology services reached 143 million yuan, up 21.99 percent year-on-year. The growth rate of both industries rank among the top three in the city.
