Smart tourism solutions to debut at Big Data Expo 2025

Intelligent tourism products and applications will be showcased at the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025 (Big Data Expo 2025), which will be held from Aug 28 to 30 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Exhibiting enterprises will present smart tourism solutions that incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, big data, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and AI models. These innovations revolutionize tourism governance, marketing, services, and experiences, elevating travel quality while driving industry transformation and growth.

At the expo's digital intelligence services pavilion, ‌Mafengwo (Guizhou) Tourism Group Co will unveil its next-generation tourism ecosystem. Its upgraded AI travel assistant "AI Xiaoma" utilizes massive high-quality travel data and advanced technology to offer real-time Q&A, itinerary planning, and personalized route design with detailed practical information.

First-time exhibitor ‌Yunnan Digital Cultural Tourism Group‌, a rising innovator in Yunnan's digital sector, will showcase its "Digital Intangible Cultural Heritage" interactive platform. By merging cultural brands with AR technology, it digitally reconstructs traditional craftsmanship processes.

Zunyi Smart City Industrial Development (Group) Co will demonstrate its smart tourism management platform, which integrates transport, ticketing, and accommodation resources. Its direct shuttle network covers all 3A-level-or-higher attractions citywide, serving over 5 million tourists annually.

Guizhou Fanyun Big Data Group‌ employs the Internet of Things and big data to optimize crowd monitoring, ecological protection, and tourism services. Its tech solutions are implemented in the ‌Fanjing Mountain Integrated Management Platform‌, featuring more than 100,000 real-time sensors with over 90 percent predictive accuracy.
