The 2025 IFSC Asian Youth Championships will be held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from Aug 20 to 24.
As an official A-level event of the International Federation of Sport Climbing Asian Council, the competition will feature 211 young climbers from 14 Asian countries and regions competing in bouldering, lead climbing, and speed climbing. The event also marks Guiyang's second time hosting a top-tier Asian climbing competition after the successful 2024 World Youth Climbing Championships.
The competition will take place at the Guizhou Caihu International Climbing Center, with the course simulating Olympic-level difficulty while ensuring safety during training. Athletes can complete a "training-recovery-cultural experience" cycle within a five-minute walking distance. During the event, an outdoor market will showcase specialty coffee, craft beer, dining, and creative cultural products, offering a social space that combines leisure, entertainment, social interaction, and shopping.
