As an internationally influential and renowned event in China's alcohol industry, the expo has long been an important platform for promoting Sino-European exchanges in alcohol culture and facilitating industry cooperation.

The Frankfurt International Trophy is part of the Armonia Group, which hosts 14 competitions, including the Lyon International Awards Competition. Frankfurt is the group's most important brand and one of the largest and most authoritative competitions in Germany.

In 2024, the Frankfurt International Trophy established a branch venue in China, marking the first time in 40 years that the group has ventured outside Europe. "We hope to see more and more Chinese alcohols entering the European market," said Mark Hawkes.
