The First Tour of Guizhou Park Province Road Cycling Race will kick off in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Oct 18. The six-day race will pass through seven cities and prefectures in Guizhou, with the first 154-kilometer route starting from Guiyang's Guanshanhu district to Huangguoshu in Anshun city.

Riders will start from the Guiyang International Conference & Exhibition Center in Guanshanhu and pass through the expansive Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park. As they approach the Huangguoshu Scenic Area, the gradient increases, finishing at the majestic waterfall. According to the race rules, the professional group must complete the entire course, while the leisure cycling group will enjoy a carefully selected 60-kilometer route from Guanshanhu to Anshun's Pingba district via Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park, bypassing the challenging climbs.

The race features a professional course totaling over 760 kilometers and a prize pool of one million yuan ($140,000). To date, 28 teams from more than ten countries and regions such as the United Kingdom, Russia, and Australia, have registered, including 12 continental teams. For the first time in China, the event will see both men's and women's professional groups competing alongside each other and will offer dual pathways for professional and leisure cycling groups.
